A round table “Topical issues of criminal law. Corruption: phenomenon and system, legal ways of fighting it”, organized by the Law Firm "YUST", “Ugolovny Protsess (Criminal Proceedings)” magazine and RAPSI was held at the Press Center of RIA Novosti on February 22, 2012.

An article by Ivan Shiyonok, Advocate at the Law Firm "YUST", on the necessity to introduce to the Civil Code of the Russian Federation additional provisions defining the criteria of evaluation of the good faith of the business entities’ actions was published in the “Arbitrazhnaya Praktika (Arbitration Practice)” magazine No. 3 (March 2012).

Advocate Artem Kukin, Partner at the Law Firm "YUST", gave Pravo.Ru an expert’s commentary on the duty of a trustee to insure his liability to third parties as a way to compensate for the creditors’ losses.

Evgeny Zhilin, Associated Partner at the Law Firm "YUST", Head of International Projects, gave to the Legal Success magazine an expert’s commentary on how participation in a tender may affect a firm’s policy of increasing the recognizability of the brand.

The international conference “EU – Russia: on the way to equal and mutually beneficial acknowledgement of court rulings”, organized by Societé Juridique Franco-Russe, was held on February 17, 2012 in the Great Chamber of the Court of Cassation of France. Academician A.G.Lisitsyn-Svetlanov, Senior Partner at the Law Firm "YUST", represented the Firm at the event.

The annual ceremony of Chambers Europe Awards 2012 for European law firms will be held on May 10, 2012 in Amsterdam. The Law Firm "YUST" has been shortlisted for the Award for its outstanding achievements as the leader among Russian law firms in key spheres of legal practice.

On February 15, 2012 the Law Firm "YUST" held a seminar for the in-house lawyers of ROSNANO OJSC. The event focused on the “third antitrust package”: changes to the legislation and perspectives of its application.

The annual Russian stage of the renowned international law competition for law students – the Jessup Championship – successfully ended on February 5th. Leading Russian and foreign lawyers acted as judges of preliminary rounds-hearings. Evgeny Zhilin, Associate Partner at the Law Firm "YUST", Manager of Foreign Projects, was one of them.

Law Business Research, a competent English publishing house, famous for its Getting the Deal Through and Who’s Who Legal series, drew up the annual research of antitrust law in Russia of the Global Competition Review series – “GCR 100 – 12th Edition”. The experts again included the Law Firm "YUST" among the leaders in the antitrust regulation sphere.
