The tenth issue of Sports Law Bulletin in 2012 was published. It is dedicated to the legal regulation of third persons’ rights to football player economic rights (third party ownership, TPO) in different countries. Mikhail Prokopets, Head of Sports Law Practice of the Law Firm "YUST", was the expert on the legal regulation of TPO in Russia.

An article by Dmitry Zabrodin, Assistant Lawyer of the Law Firm "YUST", on the problems of joining the group of claimants within civil proceedings was published at “Laws of Russia: experience, analysis, practices” magazine (No. 9, 2012).

Last July, Andrey Prokhorov, a minority shareholder of TNK-BP Holding, won the greatest victory in the history of corporate disputes: the Tiumen Court of Arbitration partly upheld his claim and ruled to exact 100,4 billion roubles from BP structures to the benefit of TNK-BP Holding. BP contested the ruling. Arthur Rokhlin, Partner of the Law Firm "YUST", gave “Vedomosti” newspaper an expert’s commentary on this case (12.09.2012, No. 172 (3186)).

The Court of the Moscow Region on July 17, 2012, revoked the judgment by the Noginsk City Court dated April 19, 2012, and delivered another ruling on the case, refusing to reinstate S.N.Sakharova as the parent. The interests of the patronage educator of the underage son of the Claimant were represented, among others, by advocates of the Law Firm "YUST" Olga Artiukhova and Tatiana Starikova.
