On 7 May, 2009, the Federal Arbitration Court for the Moscow Circuit affirmed the ruling of the Arbitration Court of Moscow and the order of the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeals to hold the order issued by the tax authority invalid regarding ООО “PORSCHE RUSSLAND”. On 7 August, 2009, a due date expired to file a petition to the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation for reviewing the judicial acts.

By its order of 22 July, 2009, the Federal Arbitration Court for the Moscow Circuit affirmed the ruling of the Arbitration Court of Moscow issued on 3 February, 2009, and the order of the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal issued on 16 April, 2009, where the decision made by the Tax Office No. 5 of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for Moscow city to hold OOO “Ernst & Young” liable to tax was found invalid.

Mikhail Prokopets, a senior lawyer at the Law Firm “YUST”, has launched a webcast dedicated to the sports law on one of the most visited runet websites www.sports.ru. The webcast’s name is Lex sportive and it has been established as a meeting-place to discuss the sports law related issues.

Workshop “Law Application Issues and Practices related to Physical Culture and Sports in the Russian Federation” was hosted by and held under the auspices of the Moscow State Law Academy, as well as under the auspices of the Ministry for Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation, the Russian Football Union, the Professional Football League, the Russian Lawyers’ Association, and the Law Firm “YUST” from 23.06.2009 till 26.06.2009.
